Farndale North Yorkshire Page One
home
Farndale is located in the heart of the North
Yorkshire Moors, its a beautiful dale more associated with farming than
anything else, it has an area of wild Daffodils and is sometimes called the
Daffodil Valley, this area of Daffodils is between the tiny villages of Low Mill
and Church Houses and there is a walk along the River Dove for people to view the
flowers, parking at Low Mill and walking to Church Houses where you can then
have a meal or a drink in the well known public house called the Feversham Arms
(highly recommended) run by Frances Debenham, this pub is over 200 years old and
well worth looking into. On the road between the two villages is a thatched
cottage, as far as I know its the only one in the area and can be seen below in
the snow photo.
